“At last! The half-yearly exams are over! Hip Hip Hooray!” I yelled, elated, running amok amongst my classmates “Yes! Isn’t it great! No more studying” said a relieved Sahiba. I wonder how many people are there in this world that like to study. Not me! To me, it’s bliss when my mother isn’t shouting at me to study anymore. I’d go ballistic. Isn’t it great not to hear your mother drone on and on about the importance of exams? I personally feel exams are a waste of time. The poor teachers, how sorry I feel for them, checking the same answers again and again. Such a monotonous routine. After what one goes through before exams (studying), it is a sense of freedom one experiences after exam. The feeling is indescribable, indestructible. Ah! Moments like these are unforgettable parts of life. Since exams cannot be avoided, I can give you some tips on how to enjoy exams: 1. Think of the day the exams will finish. It will be
something to look forward to. I recommend you try these tips. I’m sure they’ll help. Anyway, getting back to the story, after I got on the
bus I seriously don’t know what happened to me. I started saying
silly things (absurd things) like: “Halleluiah” and “Terrifico,
Magnifico, Splendifico”. “Shut up, you twerp”, said
my friend highly amused “I am going to…”, my friend
cut my sentence short to say, “celebrate”. Of course, said
I, let’s do it! P.S: And You. You just hang on there and always try.
Try to enjoy your exams. If you forget everything I have said, just
remember this one thing. Bye. ( Year 2003 ) |
